My happy little baby lights up the room with her smile! I swear she is going to let out a real laugh one of these days.
Eloise is already 2 months old and her personality is coming out more and more each day. She is such a smiley baby and I love that gummy little grin she gives when she sees me.
Another amazing milestone we’ve hit this month- she is sleeping through the night! I am sure there will be a sleep regression coming soon and I’ll be back to waking up at 2am to nurse her, but for now I am enjoying the sleep.
Eloise is such a sweet baby. She would sleep all day in my arms if I let her, and as soon as I put her down she wakes up. Unlike Phoebe who napped for hours all day, Eloise takes short cat naps for about 45 minutes every couple hours. Eloise is still a pooping and farting machine and spits up constantly. When she gets upset and cries, she usually let’s out a little piggy snort that is the cutest little sound ever!
She currently weighs 13 pounds and is ready to go into size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothing…so obviously her #1 favorite thing to do is nurse all day.
Phoebe is still head over heels in love with Eloise. The first thing she says when she wakes up in the morning is, “See baby sister?” and whenever we go anywhere she always asks if we’re going to bring baby sister with us. Eloise is starting to notice Phoebe and be entertained by her as well. Last week, Phoebe was singing the ABC’s to her and Eloise made eye contact with her and smiled a big, happy smile…and my heart melted. I can’t wait for more of that.
I always say to people just how sweet of a baby Eloise is. She enjoys interaction. She is so aware of the people around her and loves when she is talked to. She will coo and make little baby noises back. The play mat is also a new favorite of hers. Phoebe likes to sit underneath the toys with her and drape a blanket over it to make a cave.
It’s crazy how fast she has grown. It’s like overnight she grew into this chunky little baby that fills out my arms and can be squeezed up without feeling like I’m going to break her.
We’re so excited to see what this next month brings!
