Little Miss Eloise is 3 months old already! Every month that goes by has me wondering how time is going by so fast, and wishing for it to slow down. Watching your baby grow is so bittersweet. I love seeing her develop a little personality, laugh, smile, and play, but I am sad that she’s slowly losing her baby ways.
Three months is when you see bigger changes in babies. Eloise definitely has a firecracker personality. Once she decides she doesn’t like something or is upset, she will burst out in very loud cries. She has found her voice and knows how to use it.
What I love about 3 months is that babies discover their hands and feet. Eloise loves to chew on her hands and is very drooly. This is a huge difference compared to Phoebe, who never drooled or chewed on anything. Eloise will soak her shirts and bibs with drool in no time.
At her 3 month check up, she weighed 15 pounds 3 ounces and was 25 inches long. So, it goes without saying that she LOVES to eat and is happiest when her belly is full. I love the little happy chuckles she lets out when she first latches on. She’s got rolls for days all over her body and I love it! I can’t help but pinch and squeeze them.
Eloise has the best smile ever! Getting her to laugh out loud is easy, too. She is such a happy and content baby, and will play underneath her jungle gym for a long time without making a sound.
Her hand coordination is getting better, and she is able to reach and grab for the toys that are hanging in front of her. Her tongue is also one of her favorite things to play with and everyone always comments on it’s as long as a lizard’s tongue.
The tongue is always out!
I think I say out loud every single day that she is such a sweet baby, and I truly mean it. Eloise is so easy going and not demanding at all. Playing with her toys, being talked and sung to, watching Phoebe play and sing, and eating are her joys in life, and the amount of joy she brings me is immeasurable.
Having both my girls in my arms is the best feeling in the world.
