We are in the thick of the newborn stage, which means lots of spit up, laundry, crying for no reason, gas, and feeding around the clock. The tools you have in your arsenal can make things much easier, so I’ve put together some of my faves that I am currently using with Eloise.
I’m always amazed at how much a tiny little human being requires!
I love the Knitted Gown from Candy Kirby Designs. They are soft and the knotted bottom make 2 am diaper changes a breeze. Just untie, change, and re-tie. No battling with 45 snaps required.
The Deluxe Muslin Swaddle from Little Unicorn is super soft and stretchy, plus the patterns are one-of-a-kind, modern, and just adorable!
My pediatrician recommended the Gerber Probiotic Colic Drops when Phoebe was a newborn to help with her night time fussy/screaming/witching hour. I thought they helped tremendously and they should send everyone home from the hospital with a bottle!
I use the Arms Reach Cosleeper and love it. It sits right next to your bed and one of the sides is lower so you can reach in and pick up your baby without getting up. It’s a very safe way to keep baby as close to you as possible in the middle of the night.
Aden and Anais have the cutest Burpy Bib that function as a burp cloth and a bib. The organic ones are incredibly soft and of course they have the most adorable patterns.
I have been using the Dohm Sound Machine forever and it is essential for getting and keeping a baby asleep. It doesn’t blow any cold air and covers sound amazingly well. It is a must have!
